Site Head - PMC

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Head - PMC to lead and manage Project Management Consultancy activities at the project site. The role will be responsible for overall project planning, execution, monitoring and control, ensuring timely completion of construction, erection, commissioning, performance testing and project handover while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall PMC activities at the project site, including planning, execution, monitoring and control.
• Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
• Identify and manage the critical path in coordination with the client, contractors and internal discipline leads.
• Supervise and monitor construction, erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance guarantee (PG) testing and final handover activities.
• Lead regular weekly and monthly project review meetings with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with internal discipline leads and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee site material management, material availability, storage and site space utilization to support uninterrupted project execution.
• Monitor pre-assembly and pre-erection activities and checks, wherever applicable.
• Design, implement and monitor comprehensive HSE and Quality Assurance programs at the project site.
• Ensure contractors comply with approved safety, quality, environmental and statutory requirements.
• Monitor the effectiveness of HSE and quality programs and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and verify construction procedures, work practices and site activities to ensure compliance with approved standards, specifications, drawings and statutory requirements.
• Ensure appropriate inspection, testing and quality control processes are implemented throughout project execution.
• Verify that contractors obtain and maintain all necessary certificates, licenses, permits, approvals and statutory clearances from relevant authorities within the required timelines.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely resolution of construction, quality, safety and execution-related issues.
• Identify project risks, delays and execution bottlenecks and drive appropriate mitigation and recovery actions.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting and project records are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management and the customer, highlighting progress, risks, critical issues and required actions.
• Ensure successful completion of the project and safe, compliant and timely handover to the customer.

3. Korba, Chhattisgarh - Korba Phase III TPP (2 × 800 MW)
4. Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh - Mirzapur TPP (2 × 800 MW)
5. Baran, Rajasthan - Kawai Phase II (2 × 800 MW)
6. Salkocha, Dhubri, Assam - Assam TPP (4 × 800 MW)
7. Raipur, Chhattisgarh - Raipur Phase III (2 × 800 MW)
8. Raigarh, Chhattisgarh - Raigarh Phase III (2 × 800 MW)
