Assessment Sales Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Drive business growth for the Assessments portfolio by identifying and developing opportunities across enterprise, academia, and government sectors.
\n
• Generate new business through client acquisition and account management for hiring assessments, certification exams, employability testing, skill benchmarking, and university examination solutions.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with CHROs, Talent Acquisition Heads, University Leadership, Government Departments, Skill Missions, and Sector Skill Councils to expand business opportunities.
\n
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to design customized, competency-based assessment solutions aligned with industry and organizational requirements.
\n
• Coordinate the end-to-end assessment lifecycle, including solutioning, implementation, project planning, stakeholder management, execution, and customer support.
\n
• Ensure seamless execution of large-scale online and offline assessments by working closely with operations, technology, and delivery teams while maintaining quality, compliance, examination integrity, data security, and SLA adherence.
\n
• Work with Product, Technology, Content, and Psychometrics teams to enhance assessment offerings through AI-enabled assessments, remote proctoring, automation, analytics, and scalable digital solutions.
\n
• Monitor project delivery, identify operational risks, and ensure adherence to organizational processes, governance standards, and regulatory requirements across all assessment engagements.
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, Product, Technology, Content, and Delivery to ensure timely execution and successful client outcomes.
\n
• Manage key customer accounts by ensuring high service quality, timely issue resolution, customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term relationship development.
\n
• Track market trends, competitor offerings, emerging hiring practices, and assessment technologies to identify new business opportunities and recommend enhancements to existing solutions.
\n
• Monitor business performance against defined targets, maintain sales pipeline and project reports, mentor junior team members, and contribute to achieving revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence objectives.

Desired Experience

\n

\n
• 8–12 years of experience in Assessments, EdTech, Enterprise Hiring Solutions, Certification, Learning & Assessment, or Examination Management.
\n
• Proven experience in business development, client engagement, and account management across enterprise, academia, or government sectors.
\n
• Experience managing large-scale assessment projects with strong knowledge of assessment operations, compliance, quality, and stakeholder management.
\n
• Good understanding of digital assessment platforms, AI-enabled assessments, remote proctoring, analytics, and emerging assessment technologies.
\n
• Strong communication, relationship management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
\n
• Ability to work in fast-paced, compliance-driven environments while managing multiple stakeholders and delivering high-quality outcomes.
