About Cura

Cura is a travel concierge. It plans, books and looks after your trips, on iOS, Android and WhatsApp.

You tell it where you are going. It builds the trip, books it, and handles it when something breaks at 2am in Bangkok. Every trip ends with a receipt showing exactly how many hours and rupees it saved you, including what Cura earned on the booking.

We are in Bengaluru, pre-seed, and we launch this quarter.

The role

Most travel brands post photographs of places. We have something better than that. We have real members, real trips, and a receipt at the end of each one showing exactly what we saved them.

Your job is to turn that into the most interesting travel account in Bengaluru, and the writing to go with it.

Two surfaces, one voice. Reels and stories on Instagram, where the audience is. Longer writing on our own site, where we prove we actually know things.

What you will do

• Own @cura. Plan it, shoot it, edit it, post it, reply to it. The calendar is yours and so is the account

• Shoot the real thing. We set up desks in tech parks and visa queues and show people what they overpaid on trips they have already taken. We film members racing their own credit card concierge, and we publish the ones we lose. Their faces are the content, and you are the one holding the camera

• Turn member artifacts into posts. Globes, Savings Receipts, ranked lists. The best content we have is about the member, not about us, and knowing the difference is most of this job

• Write the long stuff. Destination pieces that carry a fact nobody else has, the insider notes our advisors collect on every trip, and the reports we publish about how much this city loses booking its own travel. This is where we earn search traffic and credibility at the same time

• Work with creators. We book real trips for travel creators instead of buying posts from them. You coordinate the shoots and make sure we come back with something usable

• Own the numbers. Reach, saves, shares, and how many people actually joined. We only put money behind posts that are already working on their own, and you decide which ones those are

What we are looking for

• You have run an account that grew without paid spend. Your own, a friend's band, a food page, a college page. Anything. Send it, and send the numbers

• You shoot and edit on a phone, fast, and it looks good

• You can actually write. Captions are forty percent of this job and the blog is another twenty. Long form and short form are different skills and we need both

• You can write without a single exclamation mark. This is a real rule here, it applies to everything we publish, and it is the whole test

• You know Bengaluru. Where people go, which places matter this month, who is worth knowing

• Past experience in content, social or editorial is a plus. Agency, brand, publication or your own thing. If you have shipped work that people saw, lead with it
