Job Description: Junior Accountant (Fresher) Job Title: Accounts Executive (Entry-Level) Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 0–2 Year (Freshers Welcome) About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career in accounting, gain hands-on experience with financial processes, and grow within a supportive, learning-focused environment. Export and Import related transactions. Key Responsibilities Assist in maintaining and updating financial records, ledgers, and journals Support day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable Help prepare invoices, bills, and payment vouchers Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports Support month-end and year-end closing processes Help ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST/TDS or applicable local tax laws) Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records Assist senior accountants and auditors during internal/external audits Perform data entry into accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP) Handle basic MS Excel reporting (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, BBA- Finance, M.Com, or equivalent) Basic understanding of accounting principles (debit/credit, journal entries, balance sheets) Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.) Strong numerical and analytical skills Good written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Preferred (Good to Have) Internship or academic project experience in accounting/finance Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, or income tax filing Pursuing or completed certifications like CA (Inter), CMA, or CPA Soft Skills Willingness to learn and adapt quickly Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work well in a team Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial data What We Offer Structured on-the-job training and mentorship Exposure to real-world accounting practices and tools Clear career growth path within the Finance team Competitive entry-level salary and benefitsHow to Apply Interested candidates can send their updated resume to [email address] with the subject line “Application for Junior Accountant – Fresher.” SHARE CV AT BELOW EMAIL ID: abhinav@specialtycp.com (Please share CTC expectations with the CV)
