Job Summary

We are hiring a Python Data Engineer with strong experience in Python, Oracle PL/SQL, ETL development, and Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable data pipelines, perform data transformation and validation, and support enterprise data platforms. Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or AML Compliance is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python.
• Develop optimized SQL and PL/SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, profiling, and validation.
• Develop reusable Python scripts for automation and data processing.
• Build technical specifications based on business requirements.
• Automate data ingestion, quality checks, and monitoring processes.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA, and Production Support teams.
• Support application deployment, release management, and production issues.
• Ensure high data quality, governance, and compliance with AML and regulatory requirements.
• Follow Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  
  

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Python Data Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python (OOP, Pandas, SQLAlchemy, PyArrow, Polars).
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
