Credit Senior Associate

Position: Credit Senior Associate– Two & Three -Wheeler Loan Underwriting

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Experience: 3 – 5 years (strictly within this band), specifically in underwriting two-wheeler

loans for NBFCs

Reporting To: Regional Credit Manager / Head – Credit

About the Role :

ProsParity (Etribe Finance Private Limited) is looking for an experienced Credit Senior

Associate to independently underwrite loans. The ideal candidate will have hands-on, NBFCspecific

two-wheeler and three-wheeler loan underwriting experience within the 3–5 years

band, strong Excel skills, and the ability to take independent credit decisions within defined

policy and delegation limits.

Key Responsibilities :

 Independently underwrite loan applications end-to-end, from login to disbursement, in

line with the company's credit policy and risk appetite.

 Conduct personal discussions (PD) and telephonic verification of applicants, coapplicants,

and guarantors to assess creditworthiness and intent to pay.

 Evaluate income documents, bank statements, bureau reports (CIBIL/Experian/CRIF),

and other KYC/financial documents to arrive at a sound credit decision.

 Carry out field/desktop verification coordination (residence, business, employment)

through the verification/FI agencies and validate reports received.

Assess dealer/showroom-level risk, vehicle valuation, and margin/LTV compliance for

each vehicle loan file.

 Maintain and analyze underwriting data, portfolio quality (DPD buckets, vintage/cohort

trends), and prepare MIS/reports in Excel for management review.

 Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, internal credit policy, and DPDP Act/KYC-AML

norms in every file underwritten.

 Coordinate with sales, operations, and collections teams at the branch to ensure

smooth login-to-disbursement turnaround time (TAT)

Flag early warning signals, fraud indicators, and policy deviations, and recommend

corrective action.

 Support portfolio audits, RCU (risk containment unit) queries, and internal/statutory

audit requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

 3-5 years of experience (strictly within this band) in underwriting two-wheeler loans with

an NBFC (candidates outside this experience band will not be considered).

 Proven track record of independent credit underwriting/decisioning – not merely fileprocessing

or sourcing support.

 Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas) for

portfolio tracking, MIS, and reporting.

 Sound understanding of credit bureau reports, income assessment methods, and twowheeler

asset/dealer ecosystem.

 Graduate degree in any discipline; a background in finance/commerce is preferred.

 Willingness to work 6 days a week and travel locally within Bhopal and surrounding

markets as required.

 Good communication skills in Hindi and English for applicant/dealer interactions.

Desired Attributes

 High integrity and sound judgment in credit decision-making, with the ability to say “no”

to a bad file despite business pressure.

 Comfortable working independently at a branch/location level with minimal

supervision.

 Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable with data/Excel-heavy reporting.

 Preference for candidates with prior experience of working for IDFC First Bank, Capital

First Limited, Berar Finance and L&T Finance.

 Familiarity with co-lending/DSA-sourced two-wheeler loan models is an added

advantage.
