The Attention Co. is a content and personal branding company based in Mumbai. We work with leading professionals, founders, creators and podcast hosts to build content that people genuinely want to watch.

We produce multiple podcasts across business, leadership, health, relationships and culture. We are now looking for a specialist editor who will focus entirely on creating high-quality podcast trailers.

About the Role

We are looking for a Podcast Trailer Editor and Motion Graphics Designer who can turn conversations into fast, exciting and visually strong trailers.

This is not a general video editing role.

Your primary responsibility will be to create podcast trailers back to back across the different shows produced by The Attention Co. You will not be responsible for editing full podcast episodes, daily social media reels, thumbnails or basic talking-head videos.

Most trailers will be between 45 seconds and two minutes long. The dialogue, broad structure and creative direction will usually be provided by our team. Your job will be to bring that structure to life through editing, motion graphics, typography, music, sound design and supporting visuals.

The final trailer should feel like a carefully produced piece of content, not a collection of podcast clips placed over music.

What You Will Do

• Create high-quality trailers for podcasts produced by The Attention Co.
• Turn approved dialogue selections and trailer structures into finished videos.
• Build a clear beginning, middle and end within a short runtime.
• Create a strong opening that captures attention within the first few seconds.
• Use kinetic typography to highlight important words, ideas and emotional moments.
• Design motion graphics that support the conversation.
• Find relevant images, videos, archive footage and other supporting visuals.
• Use music and sound design to create pace, tension, emotion and energy.
• Work with multiple podcast cameras and select the strongest visual angle for every moment.
• Use transitions, tracking, masking and compositing wherever required.
• Colour-correct footage and maintain consistency between different shots.
• Create clean subtitles and text treatments.
• Deliver trailers in the required formats and resolutions.
• Make revisions quickly based on feedback.
• Maintain properly organised project files, footage, fonts, graphics and other assets.
• Deliver approximately two to three completed trailers every week, depending on the complexity of each project.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• A good understanding of editing, motion graphics, typography and visual design.
• A strong sense of music, rhythm, pacing and sound design.
• The ability to build curiosity and emotion through editing.
• The ability to make a simple podcast conversation feel visually exciting.
• The ability to understand spoken English and recognise the strongest moments in a conversation.
• Experience working with multiple cameras and different podcast setups.
• Good knowledge of masking, motion tracking, compositing and transitions.
• The ability to find specific and relevant visuals instead of using random stock footage.
• The ability to work quickly without making the final video feel rushed.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to understand feedback and apply it correctly.
• The ability to manage a continuous pipeline of trailer projects.

This Role Is Not for You If

• Your experience is limited to basic reel editing and adding subtitles.
• You are only a motion graphics artist and do not understand storytelling or video editing.
• You can create visual effects but struggle to build a clear trailer.
• Most of your work depends on ready-made templates and preset packs.
• You primarily want to edit long-form podcasts, wedding films or music videos.
• You require detailed instructions for every cut, transition and graphic.
• You are uncomfortable working on multiple trailers with regular deadlines.
