Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach

Location: Bangalore (HSR | Whitefield | Indiranagar | Upcoming Centers)

Experience: 3+ Years (Fulltime – excluding internship)

Compensation:

Fixed Salary: ₹45,000 - ₹50,000 per month + Performance Incentives: ₹7,000 - ₹10,000 per month + Yearly Bonuses.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead performance training programs for athletes and active individuals. The ideal candidate will bring strong coaching expertise, sports science knowledge, leadership potential, and a passion for creating world-class client experiences.

This role extends beyond coaching and includes mentorship, project ownership, operational excellence, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Option 1

• BSc in Sports Science / Exercise Science / Strength & Conditioning.
• Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in a Sports Academy, Professional Sports Team, High Performance Center, or Elite Fitness Facility.

Option 2

• MSc in Sports Science / Exercise Physiology / Strength & Conditioning.
• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in a Sports Academy, Professional Sports Team, High Performance Center, or Elite Fitness Facility.

Preferred Certifications

• ASCA Level 1 / Level 2
• EXOS Certifications
• NSCA-CSCS
• Functional Movement Screen (FMS)
• UKSCA Accreditation
• Relevant Performance Training Certifications
• ACSM Performance Certifications

Preferred Experience

· Experience working with competitive or elite athletes.

· Exposure to return-to-sport programs.

· Experience in multidisciplinary environments involving physiotherapists, sports scientists, and coaches.

· Experience using athlete monitoring and performance testing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Strength & Conditioning Delivery

· Design and deliver evidence-based strength and conditioning programs.

· Conduct athlete assessments and performance profiling.

· Develop sport-specific performance plans.

· Lead individual and small-group training sessions.

· Maintain flawless documentation as directed by the company.

Sports Science & Technology

·Utilize sports technology platforms including VALD, RunScribe, Output, ForceDecks, ForceFrame and other assessment tools.

· Contribute to the development of testing protocols and performance standards.

Athlete Development & Return-to-Performance

· Collaborate closely with physiotherapists to bridge rehabilitation and performance training.

· Implement injury prevention and load management strategies.

· Educate athletes on performance optimization and recovery practices.

Leadership & Team Development

· Mentor junior coaches and interns.

· Support onboarding and skill development initiatives.

· Contribute to internal training workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Projects & Center Initiatives

. Lead or support sports performance projects across Stance centers.

· Participate in sports events, athlete camps, workshops, and outreach initiatives.

· Contribute to innovation projects involving sports technology and performance systems.

Client Experience & Stakeholder Management

· Deliver exceptional client experiences through professional coaching and communication.

· Build strong relationships with athletes, parents, coaches, and referral partners.

· Support client retention through measurable outcomes and engagement.

· Maintain high service quality standards across all interactions.
