Founding Recruiter - Non - Tech

As the Founding Recruiter for Non-Tech (Biz), you will own end-to-end hiring across Sales, Customer Success, Program/Project Management, and Finance. You will start by closing roles on active demand, and over the next 6-12 months grow into a biller role bringing in business, shaping accounts, and building your own team around this function. You will report directly to Bhargav and use Ratch as your daily operating system.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring for non-tech roles across Sales, Customer Success, Program Management, and Finance.
• Build and run dedicated sourcing strategies for mid-management non-tech talent using your LinkedIn network and Ratch's platform.
• Close at least one role cleanly within the first 60 days and run 5+ active mandates in parallel.
• Partner with hiring managers as a true talent advisor, clarify role context, run assessment plans on Ratch, and drive structured decisioning.
• Bring AI-first thinking into your day-to-day use of Ratch's agents and your own AI workflows to multiply your output beyond traditional recruiter throughput.
• Grow into a biller role over 6-12 months, develop client relationships, scope new mandates, and start owning revenue.
• Build and lead a small team around the non-tech function as the book of business scales.
  
  

Requirements

• 2-4 years of recruiting experience focused on non-tech functions (sales, CS, program management, or finance).
• Demonstrable track record of closures with clear ownership placements you ran end-to-end, not as part of a large team.
• Strong LinkedIn presence with a substantial professional network (10K followers/connections is a healthy anchor).
• Bangalore-based and willing to work from our HSR Layout office full-time.
• Self-managed working style, comfortable operating without a manager setting your pipeline.
• AI-first mindset views AI as a force multiplier for sourcing, screening, and outreach.
  
  

Good-to-Have

• Background at a Tier-1 recruiting agency (Michael Page, Antal, ABC Consultants, Longhouse, or similar).
• In-house Talent Acquisition experience at a product company (Cred, Razorpay, Meesho, Zomato, Swiggy, or similar).
• Exposure to all four non-tech functions: Sales, CS, Program Management, Finance.
• Experience hiring mid-management non-tech roles end-to-end.
• Comfort with a base-plus-delivery-commission compensation structure.
