Senior Buyer/Lead - Information & Communication Technology

Senior Buyer ICT

We are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of Senior Buyer ICT (Information & Communication Technology Procurement), to be based in Lagos, Nigeria, supporting multi-million-dollar projects and plant operations.

This is a strategic role responsible for managing end-to-end procurement of critical ICT infrastructure and systems that support large industrial and project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead procurement of ICT-related materials and services including software licensing, enterprise applications, IT hardware, cybersecurity solutions, network infrastructure, and communication systems

- Manage vendor sourcing, techno-commercial evaluation, and contract finalization

- Drive commercial negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions

- Work closely with project, IT, and engineering teams to ensure timely procurement aligned with project timelines

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and project requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 15-20 years of experience in procurement, with strong specialization in ICT category buying

- Proven experience in handling large-scale procurement for infrastructure, industrial, or EPC/project environments

- Deep understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity procurement

- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation and vendor management skills

- Ability to manage global vendors and complex procurement cycles

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (B.Tech or equivalent) is essential
