Job descriptionAbout the Role We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our inside sales team. This role is the engine of our revenue pipeline - you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective clients in the US/global market, with a focus on IT staffing and workforce solutions. You will work closely with senior account managers and leadership to convert leads into long-term business relationships. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Generation - Research and identify potential clients (hiring managers, procurement leads, HR directors, C-suite contacts) through LinkedIn, job boards, company websites, and industry databases. - Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads across target verticals (government, healthcare, financial services, technology, utilities). - Conduct cold outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities. Client Engagement & Qualification - Initiate and manage first-touch conversations with prospects to understand their staffing and talent acquisition needs. - Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline - BANT). - Schedule discovery calls and meetings for senior sales representatives and account managers. - Setup meetings between newly identified and qualified client leads and the Agile Global Solutions senior management. CRM & Pipeline Management - Accurately log all activities, interactions, and lead statuses in the CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar). - Maintain up-to-date records of prospect profiles, communication history, and follow-up schedules. - Provide weekly pipeline reports and performance metrics to the sales leadership team. Market Research & Intelligence - Monitor job postings, RFP portals, and market signals to identify new business opportunities. - Track competitor activity and industry trends to refine outreach messaging and positioning. Collaboration & Coordination - Partner with recruiters and delivery teams to align business development efforts with current resource availability. - Support proposal preparation and client presentation coordination as needed. Required Qualifications - 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation - preferably in IT staffing, technology services, or B2B sales. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Proven ability to conduct high-volume outreach with a professional, consultative approach. - Strong understanding of the IT staffing landscape, technology roles, and talent market dynamics is a plus. - Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. - Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Preferred Qualifications - Prior exposure to US staffing or IT services sales with US-based clients. - Experience working in US shift hours. - Knowledge of technologies like Cloud, DevOps, ERP, or niche platforms is advantageous.
