Function Purpose: The Business Strategy function is responsible for defining and driving the strategic direction of the company, identifying growth opportunities, optimizing operational efficiencies, and ensuring long- term sustainability in a highly competitive insurance broking market. It aligns business objectives with market trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

Role Purpose: The Business Strategist is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive business growth, market penetration, and operational excellence. This role involves market analysis, competitive positioning, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue streams and customer experience.

Key Expectations of the Role: 1. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to enhance revenue growth, market share, and profitability.

2. Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.

Personal Qualification:

Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field OR Chartered Accountancy. Proven learning experience in business strategy, consulting, within insurance broking or financial services.

Strong business acumen to track record of driving business growth and strategic initiatives in a competitive environment.

Experience in managing regulatory compliance within the BFSI industry would be an added advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
