Job Description - Lead and execute the Employee Relations strategy across four manufacturing units. - Partner closely with factory stakeholders to support organizational capability building through workforce and skill set planning for both staff and workmen. - Ensure adherence to labor laws, standing orders, statutory compliances, and maintenance of statutory records, while implementing recommendations arising from periodic labor audits. - Oversee contract labor management, including deployment planning, licensing, documentation, and contractor compliance. - Drive contractor performance management through periodic scorecards and focused improvement initiatives. - Manage employee grievances, disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries, and legal liaison activities. - Champion productivity enhancement initiatives, including absenteeism reduction, overtime optimization, and workforce efficiency improvement. - Support manpower budgeting, workforce planning, and labor cost optimization efforts. - Lead NAPS and NATS enrollment programs and maximize apprentice-to-employee conversions to strengthen the talent pipeline. - Ensure effective functioning of statutory committees and employee welfare initiatives in collaboration with the Factory Administration team. - Develop and publish ER dashboards covering key metrics such as absenteeism, attrition, overtime, industrial disputes, compliance, and productivity. - Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Finance teams to drive operational excellence. - Strengthen ER capabilities of line managers through coaching, policy awareness, and capability-building interventions. - Drive the Plant PMS and partner with the Factory Manager to ensure talent readiness and organizational capability for future growth.
