About the Role

The Senior Product Manager – Loan Against Property (LAP) is responsible for scaling up the LAP business by developing compelling value propositions to expand products, channels, segments, and customer base. The role focuses on delivering banking solutions in a cost-efficient and technology-effective manner. It involves establishing robust interfaces with strategic partners and brands to boost business volumes across geographies. The role also includes building teams, systems, processes, and a culture conducive to scalable and consistent delivery. Collaboration with Retail Assets teams including Business Heads, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing & Transformation, Policies, Operations, Collections, and Technology is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the LAP business to expand volume and profitability of products and portfolio.
• Guide product distribution to ensure volume scale-up as per defined targets.
• Own the loan business P&L and drive cost-effective operations.
• Partner with Technology and Digital teams to facilitate process improvements and innovation, enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships across brands and channel/product partners to increase portfolio penetration.
• Monitor portfolio performance and quality, providing recommendations for course correction to Product and Sales teams.
• Collaborate with Business Analytics to identify LAP business potential and prepare for external market conditions.
• Lead ideation of standardized processes to ensure smooth LAP business operations.
  
  

Secondary Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the online partner journey and customer experience to differentiate the bank from competitors.
• Evaluate feasibility of new initiatives in offerings, channels, and processes, ensuring implementation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver best-in-class products and services to customers.
