Remote Zonal Head, Clinical Operations

About the role: As a Remote Zonal Head, you will lead a team of pediatric oncology nutritionists across an assigned geographical zone, ensuring high-quality nutrition care, operational excellence, and compliance with Cuddles Foundation's clinical standards. You'll be trained and mentored to grow into this role, cultivating your team and modelling excellence and integrity for them. You'll serve as the primary clinical leader for your hospitals, supporting nutritionists through coaching, clinical supervision, Monitoring & Evaluation, doctor engagement, recruitment, training, and performance management. You'll work closely with the Head of Clinical Operations and cross-functional teams to strengthen programme quality, improve nutrition outcomes, and ensure seamless service delivery across your zone. This role combines people leadership, clinical governance, operations management, and stakeholder engagement, working remotely with regular travel to Head Office and partner hospitals. Reporting to: Head, Clinical Operations What you'll do: - Lead the clinical nutrition programme across your assigned hospitals, ensuring consistent, high-quality care and adherence to Cuddles Foundation protocols - Continue assessing, counselling, and developing nutrition care plans for paediatric oncology and haematology patients at your base hospital, alongside your zonal responsibilities - Ensure nutritionists conduct timely assessments and counselling for every eligible child, every day - Provide regular on-site support, mentoring, and supervision through planned hospital visits and virtual check-ins - Build strong relationships with doctors, nursing teams, and hospital stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of nutrition services - Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development of nutritionists in your zone - Plan ahead for staffing gaps and long-term absenteeism, ensuring continuity of care - Monitor clinical documentation, patient care quality, and SOP adherence through regular reviews - Champion consistent use of the FoodHeals App and other digital tools - Ensure timely submission of monthly reports, success stories, and case studies - Mentor nutritionists through case discussions, clinical reviews, and coaching - Contribute to clinical excellence through research, training, and innovative counselling approaches - Travel regularly to assigned hospitals for on-site support and stakeholder engagement - Share regular updates on clinical and operational performance with your reporting manager - Be accountable for the performance, engagement, and development of your team Must-haves: - Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition/Dietetics - 12+ years of clinical nutrition experience - Experience working remotely and managing remote teams - Strong pediatric clinical nutrition knowledge - Excellent communication and coaching skills - Ability to travel frequently - Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills - High accountability and transparency - Comfortable with technology and G-Suite You are: A strong clinical leader who guides teams with confidence and upholds high standards of patient care.
