Product Design Head for Jewelry Manufacturing

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Head to lead our design team in creating

innovative, market-leading jewelry collections. The ideal candidate will have a deep

understanding of jewelry design trends, materials, and manufacturing processes. They will

drive the development of collections that combine aesthetics with functionality, aligning with

brand goals and customer preferences while maintaining quality and cost-efficienc

Key Responsibilities:

● Design Leadership: Lead and mentor the design team, including merchandisers, CAD

designers and manual designers, ensuring design quality and innovation.

● Collection Development: Oversee the end-to-end creation of collections from concept

to final product, ensuring timelines and client requirements are me

● Collaboration with Merchandising & Sales: Work closely with merchandisers to

understand market trends and client needs, ensuring designs align with business goals.

● Trend Analysis & Innovation: Stay updated on global jewelry trends, materials, and

techniques to introduce fresh and market-relevant designs.

● Product Development: Collaborate with production and R&D teams to ensure designs

are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

● Client Interaction: Engage with key accounts for product development feedback and

modification

● Managing key trade shows: Manage the end to end design planning & execution for

both domestic and international trade shows

● Performance Metrics: Implement output-based planning and tracking mechanisms to

ensure efficient design processes and quality metrics, including hit rates and custom

feedback.

Qualification

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or a related field

preferred

● 10 years of experience in product design, preferably in the jewelry industry.

● Proven leadership experience in managing design teams and overseeing collection

development.

● Strong understanding of jewelry materials, manufacturing processes, and market

trends.

● Proficiency in CAD software and other design tool

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
