Job descriptionJob Description – Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Project Finance Support (Country Setup, Go-Live, RTR & P2P) Department: Finance Reports To: Manager - Finance Location: Pune About Spiro Spiro is building the operating system for electric mobility across Africa - spanning battery swapping infrastructure, fleet operations, energy commerce, and CRM - live across nine markets (Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Morocco, Benin, Togo, and Cameroon). Backed by $200+M in funding, we're working on top-notch, cutting-edge technology to solve problems at genuine IoT, fintech, and mobility scale - real-time data pipelines, connected hardware, and platforms that run physical infrastructure, not just dashboards. We're looking for exceptional engineers and leaders to join us in Pune or Bangalore to help build this platform. This isn't a "big company problems, big company headcount" environment - you'll own systems end-to-end, with a bar for technical rigor set by experience at top product tech companies, but a working style built for a company still being built. Role Overview Lead finance setup, country transition and post go-live stabilization including RTR and P2P ownership. Key Responsibilities • Support finance setup and onboarding for new country operations • Deploy accounting and P2P processes in SAP S/4HANA • Manage initial month-end closure and operational stabilization • Support vendor onboarding and payment setup • Establish SOPs and control frameworks • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders • Track project milestones and transition readiness • Drive process standardization across countries • Prepare MIS and variance analysis reports Requirements • Strong understanding of accounting principles including debits and credits • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management • Ability to work across cultures and time zones • Willingness to travel to African countries as required. • Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred ERP Exposure SAP S/4HANA – FI, AP, Workflow, Closing Activities, Business Partner Why Spiro - Real infrastructure, real stakes: your systems run physical battery swap stations and vehicle fleets, not just dashboards. - We're looking for exceptional engineers and leaders - the technical bar of a top product tech company, without the bureaucracy - you'll make decisions and see them shipped in weeks, not quarters. - A genuinely hard, genuinely interesting problem space: distributed IoT, real-time data at scale, multi-market operations, and emerging-market infrastructure constraints all at once, built on top-notch, modern technology.
