QA Manager (Testing+ Scrum)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively serve in a dual role as a Manual Tester and Scrum Master. This position requires strong testing skills, a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, and the ability to guide teams using the Scrum framework. The ideal candidate will ensure software quality while fostering team collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

1. Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
2. Manual Execution: Conduct manual testing of software applications including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
3. Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure resolution.
4. Test Data Management: Create, manage, and maintain test data while ensuring data integrity and security.

Scrum Master

1. Scrum Framework Facilitation: Ensure teams follow Scrum principles, values, and practices effectively.
2. Sprint Planning: Collaborate with team members and product owners to plan and prioritize sprint backlogs aligned with project goals.
3. Daily Scrum: Lead daily stand-ups to maintain transparency and team alignment.
4. Impediment Removal: Identify and address blockers that hinder team progress.
5. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing Agile best practices.

Requirements

Manual Testing

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
• Agile Methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or Kanban

Scrum Master

• Coaching: Experience coaching and supporting teams in applying Scrum effectively
• Metrics & Reporting: Proficiency in tracking and reporting Scrum metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint performance reports

General

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams including development, QA, and product stakeholders
• Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness to changing project needs and priorities
