Role Description The Fashion Design Intern will support the design team with day-to-day tasks, including developing design concepts, creating sketches, and preparing mood boards and design presentations. Responsibilities include assisting with fabric and trim selection, supporting textile and print development, and helping with sampling, fittings, and garment construction details. The intern will collaborate on look creation and styling for shoots or presentations and may assist with basic graphic elements such as prints or layouts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India, requiring close collaboration with the team in the studio and production environment. Qualifications - Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion Styling, with the ability to translate concepts into cohesive collections. - Knowledge of Textiles and Sewing, including basic garment construction and fabric behavior. - Exposure to Graphic Design for fashion-related applications such as prints, layouts, and visual presentations. - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field. - Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and hand sketching is an advantage. - Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow design direction and meet timelines. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site studio environment.
