The Role\n

As a Finance Associate, you'll help run the books and financial operations for a global portfolio of SaaS startups, with significant exposure to US-based companies (QuickBooks) alongside Indian entity compliance. The role is structured as a progressive learning journey — you'll move from core accounting into taxation, reporting, and eventually strategic advisory work like valuations, ESOP design, and due diligence.

This is a hands-on seat for someone who wants deep, wide exposure to how startups are actually run financially — not a narrow, single-function role.

What You'll Do\n

Bookkeeping & accounting

\n

\n
• Record and maintain transactions across QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Tally
\n
• Handle day-to-day accounting of invoices, and monitor revenue and expenses from an FP&A perspective
\n
• Perform reconciliations, including bank and tax reconciliations
\n

\n

Tax & compliance

\n

\n
• Compute income and assist with filing ITRs, ROC returns, and GSTRs
\n
• Support tax planning, structuring, and optimization
\n

\n

Financial planning, analysis & reporting

\n

\n
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
\n
• Prepare MIS reports for senior management
\n
• Contribute to financial statements, including notes to accounts
\n
• Prepare proforma financials and consolidations
\n
• Project cash flows and working-capital needs
\n

\n

Advisory & special projects

\n

\n
• Carry out valuations using DCF and other methods
\n
• Develop and implement ESOP policies
\n
• Support due diligence activities
\n
• Draft SOPs and run risk assessments and process audits to detect revenue leakage and optimize expenses
\n

What We're Looking For\n

\n
• Passed CA (Intermediate) or equivalent
\n
• Hands-on experience with US accounting / US GAAP — this is central to the role
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting and taxation
\n
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks
\n
• Clarity in first principles and financial fundamentals
\n
• Eagerness to learn, unlearn, and adapt to new knowledge
\n
• Tech-savvy, with a genuine interest in leveraging modern tools and software
\n
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
\n
• A proactive approach and a real appetite for solving complex problems
