Job Description Role & Responsibilities – Senior Architect (Elevated Metro Rail Projects) - Lead and oversee the architectural design and development of elevated metro rail projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and urban planning guidelines. - Collaborate with engineering, structural, and project management teams to integrate architectural solutions seamlessly into metro rail infrastructure. - Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations to support project planning and execution. - Ensure the design incorporates aesthetic, functional, and environmental considerations, while maintaining structural efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring alignment with project requirements and local regulations. - Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, and contractors to obtain necessary approvals and ensure regulatory compliance. - Supervise and mentor junior architects, providing technical guidance and support in design development. - Monitor project progress, conduct design audits, quality checks, and implement necessary modifications to optimize architectural solutions. - Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in metro rail architecture to drive innovation and efficiency in design. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a reputed institution (Master's degree preferred). - Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a similar role focused on architectural design for elevated metro rail projects. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other architectural design tools. - Knowledge of Metro Rail Standards: Familiarity with DMRC, IRC, and other metro rail guidelines is an added advantage.
