ABOUT THE ROLE

\n

NxtWave is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of a large-scale, high-visibility commercial interior fit-out. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives on managing complex, fast-paced execution environments and can independently drive planning, coordination, and delivery across design, procurement, vendors, and site teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical understanding, vendor management, and execution expertise to deliver a project that reflects NxtWave's design and operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end execution of the commercial interior project from site handover to project completion, taking full ownership of delivery.
\n
• Plan, monitor, and manage project schedules, budgets, quality, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
\n
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, structural consultants, and other stakeholders for seamless project execution.
\n
• Manage and supervise contractors, vendors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
\n
• Oversee procurement, material planning, delivery schedules, inventory, and material utilization at site.
\n
• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved GFC drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and quality standards.
\n
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve execution challenges.
\n
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for purchase orders, billing, vendor payments, and project cost tracking.
\n
• Review contractor bills, work measurements, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
\n
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and site compliance requirements throughout execution.
\n
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports and present updates to internal stakeholders and leadership.
\n
• Manage project handover, snag rectification, final documentation, and project closure.
\n
• Drive coordination across multiple work-fronts and trades simultaneously to keep a large, multi-phase execution on track.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

\n

\n
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in project management for commercial interior fit-out projects, ideally including large-scale or multi-floor deployments.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Construction/Project Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Architecture.
\n
• Strong knowledge of commercial interior execution, construction methodologies, BOQs, GFC drawings, and project documentation.
\n
• Experience managing multiple vendors, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams on concurrent work streams.
\n
• Hands-on knowledge of material procurement, site logistics, inventory management, and execution planning.
\n
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Excel, and project tracking tools.
\n
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination, site execution, quality control, and finishing works.
\n
• Excellent negotiation, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Proven ability to manage aggressive project deadlines and budget targets without compromising quality.
\n
• Willingness to travel to project sites and factories across locations as required.
\n
