Finance IS Technical Specialist (Sage X3 Developer)

Based in Mumbai you will be part of the IS Finance team located in Paris contributing to both RUN and BUILD activities on the Sage X3 ERP platform (Finance module).

As a Sage X3 Developer you will:

• Play a key role in both maintaining and evolving our ERP ecosystem

• Support day-to-day operations (RUN) and contribute to new developments and enhancements (BUILD) across our Sage X3 platform

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust ERP solutions

• Ensure the stability and performance of existing Sage X3 customizations and interfaces

• Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables

• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all developments and enhancements

• Help define and enforce development and delivery methodologies specific to Sage X3 at Believe

Your mission:

• Develop and maintain L4G customizations including unit and integration testing

• Create and maintain Crystal Reports ensuring accuracy and performance

• Translate user needs into functional and technical Sage X3 solutions

• Design technical solutions based on detailed functional specifications

• Write detailed technical documentation for all developments

• Estimate effort and resources for technical specifications

• Define and deliver technical deliverables aligned with project goals

• Collaborate with the Sage X3 Tech lead to define and apply development and delivery methodologies

• Propose scalable and sustainable solutions for managing interfaces

Skills:

• Proven experience in Sage X3 development (L4G Crystal ReportsEclipseSQL)

• Strong understanding of ERP processes and business workflows

• Ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions

• Experience working in both support (RUN) and project (BUILD) environments

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• A mindset focused on scalability maintainability and user empowerment

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Qualifications :

Bachelors / Masters in Engineering or Computer Science or similar field.
