Business Analyst - II, ISFX

We are looking for a customer-obsessed innovator, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, a focus to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize work. Business Analyst will own the production and delivery of a suite of reports, dashboards and tools used by leaders to take decisions that impact customer of selling partner experience.


Key job responsibilities
●Create, support and continuously improve reports and metrics that support the business operations
● Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like QuickSight/Tableau
● Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance
● Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages
● Work directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities
● Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation to scale reporting solutions
● Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices for data analysis and reporting
● Independently manage end-to-end project delivery with minimal supervision

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets
- Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or 4+ years of Amazon experience
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or a related field
- 4+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to stakeholders and senior management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, Sagemaker, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and EC2
- Experience using very large datasets
- Experience working as a BIE in a technology company
- Experience researching about machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data science
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
- Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting systems using automation tools
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members
