Job Description:

Lead the organisation's Finance, Governance & Legal function, serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board while ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and strong governance frameworks.

\n

\n
• Provide strategic financial leadership, long-term financial planning, budgeting, and Board-level financial insights.
\n

\n

\n
• Oversee financial management, accounting operations, payroll, statutory deductions, internal controls, and Tally-based financial systems.
\n

\n

\n
• Lead donor financial reporting, fund utilisation tracking, grant compliance, and financial modelling for fundraising initiatives.
\n

\n

\n
• Ensure compliance with FCRA, FEMA, Companies Act (Section 8), Income Tax (12A/80G), CSR regulations, and other statutory requirements.
\n

\n

\n
• Manage governance processes, Board documentation, legal matters, compliance calendars, and policy reviews
\n

\n

\n
• Lead statutory and internal audits while maintaining relationships with auditors, bankers, government authorities, and legal advisors.
\n
• Build and mentor a high-performing Finance & Accounts team while strengthening systems, controls, and digital finance processes.
\n

\n

\n
• Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks to support organisational growth and sustainability.
\n

\n

\n
• Support high-value contracts, MoUs, tender negotiations, and strategic organisational decision-making.
\n

\n

\n
• Drive financial excellence to enable Arpan's scale-up strategy and long-term impact.
\n
