Role : NICE Actimize SAM : 6+ Years

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced NICE Actimize SAM Developer/Consultant to design, implement, and enhance enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crime Compliance solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Actimize SAM 8.x/9.x, transaction monitoring, case management, and AML detection models while working closely with compliance, business, and technology teams.

Note : Only candidates with hands-on experience in NICE Actimize SAM 8.x/9.x and AML implementation should apply.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Actimize SAM Development & Configuration :

- Implement, configure, and enhance NICE Actimize SAM 8.x/9.x solutions.

- Install and maintain key Actimize components including:

i. Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS)

ii. Risk Case Manager (RCM)

iii. Policy Manager

- Customize the platform to meet business and regulatory requirements.

2. AML Transaction Monitoring :

- Design and develop transaction monitoring scenarios to identify suspicious financial activities.

- Configure risk scoring models, customer segmentation, alert prioritization, and threshold tuning.

- Develop custom detection logic using stored procedures, query rules, and rule customization techniques.

- Support AI/ML-based detection models where applicable.

3. Case Management :

- Configure investigator workflows and case management processes.

- Optimize alert routing, case queues, escalation paths, and investigation workflows.

- Improve operational efficiency through workflow enhancements.

4. SQL Development & Data Management :

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, and database objects.

- Work extensively with Actimize database structures and underlying data models.

- Support data ingestion, mapping, ETL processes, and data validation.

5. System Integration :

- Integrate Actimize SAM with banking applications, AML platforms, and regulatory reporting systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability.

6. Production Support & Optimization :

- Monitor application performance and optimize detection pipelines.

- Troubleshoot configuration issues, data quality challenges, and production incidents.

- Support platform upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, and production deployments.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Business, and Technology teams to deliver regulatory-compliant AML solutions.

- Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations.

Required Skills :

1. Core Technical Skills :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with NICE Actimize SAM 8.x/9.x.

- Strong expertise in :

i. Actimize Intelligence Server (AIS)

ii. Risk Case Manager (RCM)

iii. Case Management configuration

iv. Policy Manager

- Advanced SQL programming skills, including complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.

- Experience configuring transaction monitoring rules and AML detection scenarios.

- Strong understanding of Actimize data models and database structures.

- Experience integrating Actimize with enterprise banking applications.

2. AML & Financial Crime Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of :

i. Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

ii. Financial Crime Compliance

iii. Transaction Monitoring

iv. Risk Indicators

v. Customer Risk Scoring

vi. Alert Management

vii. Regulatory Compliance

- Understanding of suspicious activity detection and alert lifecycle management.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience implementing machine learning-based fraud or AML detection models.

- Exposure to enterprise ETL and data integration frameworks.

- Knowledge of Banking and Financial Services domain.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.
