About Position: The Event Hub SME will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-scale event-driven architectures using Azure Event Hubs. The role requires deep expertise in high-volume, real-time event processing, resilient messaging patterns, capacity planning, and Kafka protocol integration for mission-critical workloads. - Role: Azure Event Hub SME - Location: All Persistent Location - Experience: 10+ Years - Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: - Design and implement enterprise-scale event-driven architectures using Azure Event Hubs. - Define producer-consumer patterns and messaging strategies to support high-volume, real-time data processing. - Design scalable and resilient message broker layers for market data and other mission-critical workloads. - Architect solutions capable of processing 20+ million messages per second while maintaining low latency and high availability. - Design, configure, and manage Azure Event Hubs Dedicated Clusters. - Design and optimize partitioning strategies for scale, throughput, and workload distribution. - Configure and manage consumer groups to support independent downstream processing. - Implement Event Capture for reliable event retention and downstream analytics. - Design scalable producer and consumer architectures. - Enable Kafka protocol integration with Azure Event Hubs. - Establish best practices for Event Hubs capacity planning and operational management. Expertise You'll Bring: - Deep hands-on expertise in Azure Event Hubs, including Dedicated Clusters. - Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, producer-consumer patterns, and enterprise messaging strategies. - Hands-on experience with partitioning, consumer groups, Event Capture, and high-throughput event processing. - Experience integrating Kafka protocol-based producers and consumers with Azure Event Hubs. - Strong Azure cloud experience designing scalable, highly available, and low-latency solutions. - Experience with capacity planning and operational management for mission-critical streaming platforms.
