Summary:

As a Data Platform Engineer, your day involves supporting the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. You work closely with Integration Architects and Data Architects to facilitate seamless integration across various systems and data models. Your role requires continuous collaboration and coordination to maintain a unified and efficient data environment that supports organizational objectives and data-driven initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data platform components meet business requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data platform issues to maintain system reliability.
• Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Experience with data pipeline development and management within cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and big data processing.
• Ability to optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• This position is based at our AMDC1A - NON-STPI location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
