Blog Marketing Intern

Role Overview

As a Blog Marketing Intern, you will take ownership of creating, managing, and optimizing written content that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and supports each venture's content strategy. Your primary focus will be on producing high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts aligned with audience insights and brand voice.

You will leverage AI-based writing and analytics platforms to enhance content quality, accelerate production, and measure performance — all while working closely with senior marketing and leadership teams across multiple high-growth ventures.

Key Responsibilities

Blog Content Creation

• Research, write, and edit engaging blog posts aligned with each brand's voice and tone.
  
• Develop topic ideas and content calendars based on audience insights and industry trends.
  
• Ensure all content meets quality standards for clarity, structure, and storytelling.
  
• Collaborate with senior team members to align posts with broader marketing goals.
  

SEO Optimization

• Optimize blog posts with targeted keywords, proper formatting, and internal linking.
  
• Apply on-page SEO best practices to improve search visibility and organic reach.
  
• Track and analyze blog performance metrics (traffic, time on page, bounce rate) to inform future strategy.
  
• Use tools like SurferSEO, Google Search Console, or similar platforms to guide optimization.
  

AI-Assisted Writing & Workflow

• Use AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Write sonic) to accelerate content drafting and ideation.
  
• Explore automation opportunities to streamline content production and publishing workflows.
  
• Maintain consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all content output.
  

Content Performance & Reporting

• Monitor key content metrics and compile regular performance reports.
  
• Recommend improvements to content strategy based on data insights.
  
• Stay up-to-date with content marketing trends, SEO algorithm updates, and industry news.
  

Qualifications

Experience

• 0–1 year of experience in content writing, blogging, or digital marketing (internship or project experience counts).
  
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly and compellingly across different topics and formats.
  
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and optimization is required.
  
• Exposure to SEO principles and content analytics platforms is a strong plus.
  

Skills

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
  
• Ability to research complex topics and translate them into accessible, reader-friendly content.
  
• Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
