Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at the Chennai office of Seventhsense Technologies ( 7stl.com ). Seventhsense Technologies is an enterprise software company building AI-enabled operations and ERP platforms for businesses around the world.

You will take ownership of invoicing, accounts documentation, vendor coordination and the smooth running of everyday office activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a growing company and wants broad exposure to accounts, administration, people coordination and business operations.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare customer invoices and maintain invoice and payment trackers
• Organise bills, receipts, reimbursements and expense records
• Maintain accurate accounts-related documents and supporting records
• Coordinate vendor quotations, purchases, payments and renewals
• Work with our accountant on bookkeeping, payroll, GST, TDS and other statutory requirements
• Compile attendance, leave and payroll inputs each month
• Maintain employee records, joining documents and administrative letters
• Support job postings, interview scheduling and employee onboarding
• Coordinate office supplies, equipment, repairs and service providers
• Maintain clear trackers, records and follow-up schedules
• Assist with customer and vendor documentation when required
• Help improve and automate recurring accounts and administrative processes

Who We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
• 0–3 years of experience in accounts, administration or office coordination
• Fresh graduates with strong accounting and organisational fundamentals are welcome
• Basic understanding of invoices, expenses and accounting documentation
• Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Confident coordinating with employees, vendors, customers and accountants
• Someone who enjoys taking ownership and keeping things organised
