Job Title: Associate Manager - Investor Relations
Department/Function: Corporate Function
Job Purpose
The role will support the Investor Relations function in managing communication with investors, analysts, rating agencies and other market participants. The incumbent will be responsible for financial analysis, preparation of investor communication materials, peer benchmarking, shareholder analytics, regulatory disclosures support, AI and Automation and execution of strategic IR initiatives. The role offers exposure to senior management, capital markets, banking strategy, financial analysis and investor engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
Investor Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Support quarterly earnings processes including investor presentations, press releases, earnings scripts and Q&A preparation.
- Coordinate with analysts, institutional investors, rating agencies and other external stakeholders.
- Maintain investor interaction trackers and prepare meeting summaries.
- Support participation in investor conferences, roadshows and non-deal roadshows.
Financial & Strategic Analysis
- Analyse quarterly and annual financial performance of the Bank and peer institutions.
- Track key banking metrics including loan growth, deposits, NIM, asset quality, fee income, profitability and capital adequacy.
- Prepare management briefing notes and thematic industry analyses.
- Develop benchmarking reports covering private sector and small finance banks.
Shareholding & Market Intelligence
- Monitor shareholder movements and ownership trends across domestic and foreign institutional investors.
- Analyse mutual fund, insurance, pension fund and FII holdings.
- Track share price performance, market developments and sector news.
- Prepare regular market intelligence updates for senior management.
Presentation & Disclosure Support
- Assist in preparation of investor presentations, annual reports and other investor communication materials.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all investor-facing communication.
- Support review of earnings call scripts, FAQs and speaking notes.
Research & Industry Tracking
- Track research reports published by sell-side analysts, prepare summaries of analyst views and estimate revisions.
- Analyse industry data and economic released by RBI, IBA and other regulatory bodies.
- Monitor developments across competitor banks and fintech companies.
Automation & Data Analytics
- Support development of automated dashboards and reporting tools.
- Leverage Excel, Power BI, VBA, Power Automate and Copilot-based solutions to improve efficiency.
- Maintain structured databases for analyst models, peer financials and investor interactions.
Technical Skills
Strong financial statement analysis, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, Financial modelling and valuation, Data analytics and dashboarding, Familiarity with Bloomberg (preferred), Knowledge of Power BI, VBA, Power Automate and AI tools is an advantage
Educational Qualifications:
Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA
Experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in: Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Strategy, FP&A
