About The Role:
\n
Senior laboratory manager to lead and oversee our Residue Analysis and Trace Laboratory — ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in pesticide residue and trace contaminant analysis. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS, method validation, ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
Laboratory Operations & Technical Leadership:
\n
\n - Lead and oversee pesticide residue and trace contaminant analysis using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS instrumentation
\n - Supervise analysis of pesticides, antibiotics, vitamins, melamine, PFAS/PFOS, dioxins, furans, PAHs, PCBs, and other trace contaminants
\n - Implement and optimize QuEChERS and advanced sample preparation techniques
\n - Drive method development, verification, validation, and measurement uncertainty studies
\n
\n
Regulatory & Quality Compliance:
\n
\n - Ensure compliance with SANTE, AOAC, ISO/IEC 17025, FSSAI, and APEDA regulatory guidelines
\n - Handle internal audits, NABL assessments, customer audits, and regulatory inspections
\n - Maintain ISO/IEC 17025:2017 documentation, data integrity, and laboratory quality standards
\n - Review and approve analytical data, chromatograms, validation reports, and test reports
\n - Manage instrument qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
\n
\n
Team Leadership & Development:
\n
\n - Supervise, train, and develop technical staff on analytical protocols, regulatory compliance, and laboratory best practices
\n - Monitor laboratory quality metrics, turnaround time (TAT) commitments, and operational efficiency
\n - Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
\n - Provide technical support to customers and drive laboratory capability expansion

Required Qualifications:
\n
Education & Experience:
\n
\n - M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline
\n - Minimum 12–20 years in a NABL-accredited Residue Analysis Laboratory
\n - Proven hands-on expertise with GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, and multi-residue analysis
\n - Strong knowledge of QuEChERS and advanced sample preparation methodologies
\n
\n
Technical & Regulatory Knowledge:
\n
\n - Sound understanding of ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, SANTE, AOAC, FSSAI, and APEDA guidelines
\n - Expertise in method validation, verification, measurement uncertainty, and method development
\n - Experience in audit handling, laboratory management, and compliance documentation
\n - NABL Authorized Signatory qualification — preferred
\n
