Senior Executive - Quality Assurance & Food Safety

Grabenord is scaling an Ahmedabad-based food manufacturing operation across processed dairy and plant-based cheese, fresh cheese and high-protein products using ultrafiltration, and fermented beverages including kombucha.

We are hiring a Senior Executive - Quality Assurance & Food Safety who can turn standards into consistent plant-floor behaviour. You will strengthen the Food Safety Management System, protect day-to-day compliance, and help build toward FSSAI and international-standard discipline across HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000.

This is not a desk-only compliance role. You will be visible on the floor, work closely with Production and R&D, and have the confidence to question deviations and follow corrective actions to closure.

What you will own

• FSMS documents, SOPs, SSOPs, specifications, records, document control, and audit readiness.

• GMP/GHP, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, allergen controls, CCP/OPRP monitoring, cold-chain controls, and CIP verification.

• Incoming-material and packaging checks, supplier documentation, COAs, specifications, and traceability.

• Sampling and coordination of microbiological, chemical, water, and environmental testing.

• Non-conformities, customer complaints, root-cause analysis, CAPA, trend reviews, and closure discipline.

• Traceability and mock recalls, hold/release controls, internal audits, calibration, pest control, and training.

• Practical quality metrics that make risks, gaps, and overdue actions visible to leadership.

What we are looking for

• 2-4 years of plant-floor QA / Food Safety experience in food manufacturing.

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology or Dairy Technology preferred; relevant M.Sc. qualifications may be considered.

• Hands-on knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, GMP/GHP, SOPs, traceability, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and audits.

• ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 exposure preferred; FoSTaC or internal-auditor certification is an advantage.

• Dairy, cheese, beverage, fermentation, or chilled-food experience is valuable but not mandatory.

• Strong documentation, Excel, communication, learning agility, and shop-floor ownership.

Compensation: INR 4.2-5.4 LPA, based on experience and fit
