B:Live is building an operating system for enterprise EV fleets — combining fleet management,

logistics operations, charging, and ESG intelligence into a unified SaaS platform.

Our goal is to create a scalable, modular, and enterprise-ready platform that drives

operational efficiency, visibility, and control for fleet operators and enterprise customers.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the core build and evolution of the

Fleet SaaS platform.

This is a deep execution and platform ownership role — you will define system architecture

(from a product lens), drive feature development, and ensure the platform is scalable, reliable,

and aligned with real-world operations.

You will work closely with:

• Principal Product Marketing Manager → for GTM, positioning, and monetisation
• Engineering teams → for execution and delivery
• Operations teams → for real-world validation

What You'll Own

• End-to-end ownership of the Fleet SaaS product build
• Platform architecture (product-level), modules, and feature evolution
• Core systems: asset management, telematics, rentals, utilisation, service workflows
• Execution across web dashboards, mobile apps, and backend systems
• Product scalability, reliability, and performance

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Platform Ownership

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the fleet management platform.
• Build scalable platform capabilities across the complete fleet lifecycle.
• Drive product decisions based on customer needs, operational challenges, and business priorities.

2. Platform & Product Architecture

Define product architecture for:

• Fleet lifecycle management (Inventory → Deployment → Service → Recovery)
• Telematics and vehicle data systems
• Rentals, allocation, and utilisation tracking
• Service, maintenance, and incident workflows

Ensure systems are:

• Modular
• Configurable
• Scalable across clients and geographies

3. Execution & Engineering Alignment

Work closely with engineering teams on:

• Sprint planning and backlog prioritisation
• API definitions and system flows
• Trade-offs between speed, scalability, and quality

Ensure timely delivery with high reliability.

4. Problem Discovery with Operations & Customers

Work closely with:

• Fleet operators
• Enterprise clients
• Internal operations teams

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding real-world workflows and operational constraints
• Validating solutions before development to minimise rework

5. Data, Metrics & System Visibility

Define and track key platform metrics, including:

• Fleet utilisation
• Vehicle uptime and downtime
• Allocation efficiency
• Service turnaround time

Ensure robust event tracking, telemetry integration, and operational dashboards.

6. Collaboration with Product Marketing (Go-to-Market Alignment)

Partner with Product Marketing to:

• Align product features with customer use cases
• Enable product packaging and positioning
• Support enterprise solution requirements

Ensure the product is both build-ready and market-ready.

7. Team Leadership & Product Excellence

• Mentor Associate Product Managers and Product Analysts.
• Establish and drive strong product management processes, including:
• Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria
• Foster a culture of ownership, clarity, accountability, and execution excellence.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 6–10+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in SaaS or platform products.
• Strong experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record of delivering both 0-to-1 and scale-stage products.
• Strong understanding of:
• APIs and backend systems
• Product-level system design and platform architecture
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams in high-execution environments.
• Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in defining metrics, dashboards, and tracking systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fleet management, mobility, logistics, or EV ecosystems.
• Exposure to telematics, IoT, or real-time data systems.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of operations-intensive workflows, including allocation, dispatch, and service management.
