Job Title: Chartered Accountant

\n

Department: Finance

\n

\n

As a Chartered Accountant in a freight forwarding company, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

\n

\n

Roles and Responsibilities :

\n

\n

\n
• Team Leading
\n
• Responsible for updating audit scope and identifying changes required
\n
• Ensure timely closure of Internal audits at regular intervals
\n
• Responsible for coordinating with External Auditors and with internal stakeholders
\n
• Responsible for conducting an audit of functions at Branch and HO.
\n
• Testing Identify process lapses and make recommendations towards closure of design/process gaps and audit issues.
\n
• Should be familiar with Taxation particularly Service Tax, TDS and GST.
\n
• Should be aware of RBI Regulations prevalent to NBFCs
\n
• Extend support to the group companies, clients and external audit firm in driving the audit effort by providing clarity on the University processes & operations
\n
• Ensuring that the audits are carried out as per approved work plan
\n
• Review of the Audit Reports and follow up for action taken report (ATR) from the process owners and management.
\n
• Attending the Audit closing meetings, Review Meetings, and Board Meeting with Audit Findings.

Candidate Profile:

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA / CA DEGREE preferred.
\n
• Previous experience in finance or accounting in a similar setting or sector.
\n

\n

\n

Experience: 8+Yrs

\n

\n

Pay Scale: All short-listed candidates will be offered remuneration on par with industry.
