Area Recovery Manager Collections (Tractor Loan)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage collections and recovery for the assigned tractor loan portfolio to minimize delinquency.
2. Monitor overdue accounts (30+, 60+, 90+ DPD) and ensure timely recovery.
3. Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to achieve monthly collection targets.
4. Lead, train, and monitor the performance of field collection executives and recovery agents.
5. Conduct customer visits and negotiate repayment plans for delinquent borrowers.
6. Coordinate with branch sales, credit, and operations teams to resolve collection-related issues.
7. Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, company policies, and ethical collection practices.
8. Identify high-risk accounts and initiate early intervention to prevent loan defaults.
9. Handle legal recovery cases, repossession processes, and coordination with legal teams when required.
10. Maintain accurate records of collection activities, customer interactions, and recovery status.
11. Analyze collection MIS reports and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
12. Reduce bucket-wise delinquency and improve portfolio quality across the assigned area.
13. Resolve customer grievances related to loan repayment and recovery activities.
14. Coordinate with external agencies, recovery vendors, and legal partners for efficient recoveries.
15. Conduct regular field audits to ensure adherence to collection processes and productivity standards.
16. Ensure achievement of recovery, roll-back, and NPA reduction targets.
17. Build and maintain strong relationships with branch managers and local stakeholders to support recovery efforts.
18. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance collection efficiency and reduce losses.
