Job Description - R&D Designers Location - Chennai This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a keen eye for design, and is interested in product development within the modular interior industry. The designer will work closely in researching new concepts, creating presentation materials, developing product catalogues, and supporting the introduction of new products and design solutions. The candidate will receive hands-on training on Infurnia and the Quote Builder platform as part of their role. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in researching new modular interior products, materials, and design trends. - Support the creation of professional presentations for new product concepts and design proposals. - Help develop and maintain product catalogues and design libraries. - Assist in creating and updating products within Infurnia and the Quote Builder platform after training. - Research new materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories suitable for modular interiors. - Support the documentation of design standards and product specifications. - Collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams during product development. - Maintain organized records of presentations, product data, and design references. - Contribute ideas for improving existing products and introducing innovative solutions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture. - 0–2 years of experience (Freshers with a strong design portfolio are encouraged to apply). - Basic understanding of modular interior design principles. - Basic knowledge of interior materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories. - Familiarity with different interior design styles and current design trends. - Good presentation and visual communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and basic design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is preferred. - Strong willingness to learn new software and processes.
