General Ledger Deputy Manager Gurgaon

Candidate should have team handling experience of Minimum 12 members ********( Mandatory )********

Years - Minimum 8 Years relevant experience with team handling is mandatory

1. General Ledger & Month-End Close

Lead and manage end-to-end month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities

Ensure accuracy completeness and timeliness of financial records

Review journal entries balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses

Drive continuous improvement in closing timelines and processes

2. Financial Reporting

Oversee preparation and review of internal management reports and external financial statements

Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS / client-specific accounting policies

Support audits (internal & external) by providing required documentation and insights

Coordinate with stakeholders for reporting requirements and ad-hoc analysis

3. Team Management

Lead mentor and develop a team of GL and reporting professionals

Allocate tasks monitor performance and conduct regular reviews

Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment

4. Controls & Compliance

Ensure adherence to internal controls SOX compliance (if applicable) and audit standards

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Maintain strong governance and documentation practices

5. Stakeholder Management

Act as a key point of contact for clients auditors and senior leadership

Collaborate cross-functionally (AP AR FP&A Tax etc.) to ensure seamless operations

6. Process Improvement & Automation

Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation

Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives where applicable

Support transition and transformation projects

Qualifications :

o Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce ( / )o CA / CMA / CPA
