Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Commercial Data Centre Power Equipment Engineer with strong expertise in critical power infrastructure for Data Centers and exposure to Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical engineering knowledge and commercial acumen to support solution design, costing, proposal development, vendor management, and business development.

Candidates must hold a valid USA Business Visa and be willing to travel internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Sizing and selecting heavy electrical equipment including Transformers, Diesel Generators (DG), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Switchgear and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
• Designing power distribution layouts, busways, rack PDUs and critical power systems for Data Centres.
• Ensuring compliance with Data Centre uptime, redundancy requirements and industry standards.
• Preparing cost estimates, pricing models, techno-commercial proposals and tender bids.
• Negotiating contracts and managing equipment suppliers and OEMs.
• Reviewing project risk assessments and controlling budget overruns.
• Monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, quality compliance and timely execution.
• Implementing projects from concept to commissioning including project management, technical evaluation, vendor coordination and quality control.
• Coordinating with consultants, customers, EPC contractors, utilities and internal stakeholders for project approvals and execution.
• Supporting business development activities, key customer engagement and solution presentations.
• Exposure to Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and associated power systems.

Mandatory Requirements

• Exposure to Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure/Charging Solutions.
• Valid USA Business Visa (Mandatory).
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• 12–20 years of experience in Data Centre Critical Power or Electrical Infrastructure
• Mandatory exposure to EV Charging Infrastructure
• Strong techno-commercial, tendering, and proposal management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
