Job Title: Sales Engineer Employment Type: Full-time Workplace Type: On-site Location: Chennai, India Salary Range: USD $1,500 – $3,000 per month Job Description We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai, driving new business development and managing client relationships within the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This role is well suited to candidates with an engineering background who are eager to build a career in technical sales; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities • Identify and develop new business opportunities and new customer accounts • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain proactive communication • Understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions • Present and demonstrate the company's products and solutions to prospective and existing clients • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships • Provide service and support to existing customers • Work independently and proactively with a positive attitude Requirements • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree; Engineering background preferred • Fluent in English and Tamil, required to liaise with local and English-speaking clients • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; no prior work experience required • Possession of own vehicle required • Willingness to be based in Chennai, India Ideal Candidate • Passionate and fast learner, able to quickly grasp technical concepts within the semiconductor environment • Driven, hardworking, and self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills • Target-oriented and results-driven • Comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 3 days per week within India) • Enjoys engaging with people across all levels in diverse manufacturing environments
