Role Description The Visual Effects Artist will work on a contract basis, contributing to high-quality visual content for film, digital, and promotional projects. This hybrid role is based in Chennai, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home depending on project needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating, refining, and integrating visual effects shots, collaborating with directors, animators, and editors to ensure seamless storytelling, and maintaining consistency with the project's visual style. The artist will participate in concept development, translate storyboards and animatics into compelling visual sequences, and optimize workflows for timely delivery. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining organized files, and providing input on improving production pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Lighting and Compositing to integrate visual effects into live-action or animated footage.
• Solid understanding of visual storytelling, cinematography, and motion principles.
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly across creative and technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple shots under deadlines.
• Relevant diploma or degree in VFX, Animation, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
