Lead Recruiter

Own hiring at Plotline, end to end. You will work with the founders to decide who we hire, run every search, and build the recruiting engine as we grow.

Plotline is backed by Elevation Capital and works with Dream11, Upstox, Zepto, and others.

Key challenges:

• Speed: Close hard roles fast. Engineering, sales, design, and more
• Bar: Move fast without lowering the bar to fill seats.
  
  

Outcomes Expected

• Q1: Close 3 open roles within 45 days. 15+ qualified candidates in pipeline per open role. Structured interview loops and scorecards live for every function.
• Year 1: 20+ hires closed. Time-to-hire under 30 days. Offer-acceptance above 80%. 90-day retention at 100%. Zero agency spend.
  
  

Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

• Own sourcing, pipeline and closing.
• Keep the ATS clean enough that anyone can see where every role stands.
  
  

Sourcing & Pipeline

• Build a deep, always-warm pipeline for every open role. 15+ qualified candidates per role.
• Beat bigger brands with better outreach and a faster process.
• Understand the talent market for key roles before they open.
  
  

Hiring Process & Team Enablement

• Work with each team to define what a great fit looks like for their role: traits, skills, and red flags, before sourcing starts.
• Design the hiring process per role: stages, interviewers, scorecards, and what each round tests.
• Prep founders and hiring managers for interviews and closing calls.
  
  

Employer Brand

• Write JDs and hiring posts that sound like us.
• Represent Plotline at hiring events and campus drives.
  
  

Requirements

• 4-6 years of full-cycle recruiting, including technical roles.
• Built teams at a high-growth startup. B2B SaaS or AI preferred.
• Closed senior, hard-to-fill roles yourself, start to finish.
• Strong with LinkedIn and an ATS (we use Ashby).
• Comfortable with funnel data: conversion, time-to-hire, source quality.
