Testing Lead - Uat & Client Enablement

About Complyance: - Complyance builds technology that helps businesses manage e-invoicing and regulatory-compliance workflows. Our Delivery team works with enterprise customers, finance teams, IT teams, ERP partners and software developers to implement API, ERP, file-based and manual-upload e-invoicing solutions. - We are expanding our implementation capability for customers across the UAE and are looking for an early-career engineer who is interested in APIs, enterprise systems, customer implementations and financial technology. About the Role: - We are looking for an experienced Testing Lead – UAT & Client Enablement to join our Delivery team and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for UAE E-Invoicing implementation projects. - This role will work closely with the Director – PMO & Delivery, Project Managers, Functional Consultants, Technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure every implementation is validated against business requirements and regulatory compliance before go-live. The ideal candidate should possess strong finance domain knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience in integration testing and client-facing UAT engagements. - The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end UAT across multiple client implementations, ensuring quality, accuracy, and a seamless customer experience throughout the testing lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: UAT Planning & Management - Own the complete UAT lifecycle across multiple client implementation projects - Prepare client-specific UAT plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases based on business requirements - Review business requirements, functional specifications, and solution design documents to derive comprehensive test coverage. - Execute and coordinate UAT activities with client stakeholders to ensure successful completion within project timelines - Validate business processes, transaction flows, integrations, and regulatory compliance requirements - Ensure testing aligns with PINT AE Guidelines and UAE E-Invoicing implementation requirements - Track UAT progress, maintain testing metrics, and provide regular status updates to the Project Managers and Director – PMO & Delivery. Client Coordination & Training - Act as the primary point of contact for all UAT-related activities with customers - Schedule and facilitate UAT sessions with client business users - Guide customers through test execution and ensure proper understanding of expected outcomes - Conduct end-user training during the UAT phase to enable client teams to confidently validate business scenarios - Obtain formal UAT sign-off from client stakeholders upon successful completion Defect Management & Quality Assurance - Log, classify, prioritize, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle - Coordinate closely with Technical, Product, and Functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution Perform regression testing after fixes are deployed - Validate issue resolution before defect closure - Escalate critical issues, risks, and dependencies to the Project Manager and Director – PMO & Delivery - Ensure solution quality prior to production deployment - Verify API integrations, ERP interfaces, manual upload processes, and end-to-end business workflows. - Maintain complete UAT documentation, evidence, defect logs, and sign-off records. Delivery Support: - Support the Director – PMO & Delivery with additional delivery, quality, and project coordination activities as assigned to meet organizational and customer objectives. Required Skills & Experience: - 4–5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enterprise application or integration projects - Proven experience in API-based integration testing - Experience testing file-based or manual upload implementations - Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes (Mandatory) - Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar enterprise applications - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience in defect management and root cause analysis - Ability to prepare detailed business-oriented UAT scenarios and test cases - Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong documentation and reporting skills Preferred Qualifications: - PMP Certification (preferred but not mandatory). - ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent is an added advantage. - Experience in Tax Technology, E-Invoicing, Regulatory Compliance, or Digital Transformation projects is highly preferred. - Exposure to UAE E-Invoicing, Peppol, API integrations, or PINT AE Guidelines will be an added advantage. Working Hours : - Must be willing to work in alignment with UAE business hours. Education Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or or an equivalent relevant field. Success Measures: - Deliver high-quality UAT across multiple concurrent client projects. - Achieve timely UAT completion and client sign-offs - Minimize production defects through effective testing and validation. - Provide an excellent customer experience during implementation. - Build strong relationships with clients and internal delivery teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
