Area Manager - Pharmaceutical Sales

Location: Thoothukkudi, Tamil Nadu

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 1-3 Years

Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Manager to lead pharmaceutical sales operations in the Thoothukkudi region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing territory performance, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve area-wise sales and revenue growth targets.
  
• Promote pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals.
  
• Monitor territory performance and implement effective action plans to improve sales.
  
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  
• Organize and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, product launches, and promotional events.
  
• Submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  
• Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  
• 1-3 years of experience in a managerial role within a pharmaceutical company is preferred.
  
• Experience in the Diabetic and Cardiac therapeutic segments is an added advantage.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
