Studio 1988 is an Architecture and Interior Design firm based in Bengaluru, founded in 2022 by Sudarshan Venkatraman. The studio focuses on exploring and challenging conventional ideas of form and function in spatial design. Team members collaborate closely to develop innovative, context-sensitive solutions for a variety of projects across scales and typologies. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Bengaluru. Junior Architects are involved in every part of the design process - from Concept Development to Design Documentation and Site Reviews.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is preferred.
• 0-3 years of Professional Experience
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, spatial planning, and detailing, as well as strong design communication skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or similar) and visualisation tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Enscape, Lumion) is beneficial. An ability to explore and integrate new software skills is always a bonus.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment are essential.

Salary

Fresher (0 years of Experience): INR 20-25,000

Junior (min. 1 year of Experience): Starts at INR 30,000
