QA Manual Tester

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets quality standards.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Document and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in a web or mobile application environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools such asJira or Bugzilla. one programming language is preferred java, python etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.

Must have:

• API Testing using POSTMAN Experience.
• Funtional Testing experience.
• Mobile Testing experience. Jira tool, and excel expirence.
• Should have experience of writing functional Test cases and documenting Bugs in Jira.
• Should able to Collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Good communication skills.
• Should have experience doing UI testing
