Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Optometrist to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, advise patients on eye health, and deliver high-quality vision care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using appropriate clinical equipment.
• Assess visual acuity and diagnose common vision conditions.
• Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses based on patient needs.
• Provide professional advice on eye care, lens options, and vision correction.
• Detect signs of ocular diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
• Work collaboratively with the retail and clinical teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore healthcare regulations and professional standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Optometry or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Eligible for registration and practice as an Optometrist in Singapore, where required.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented with a professional and compassionate approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in an optical clinic or retail environment is an advantage.
