SAP Basis & Cloud ALM Technical Engineer

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP ECC technical support, implementation, or Application Management Services (AMS).
  
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  
• Experience supporting global SAP landscapes in production support, post-go-live, and AMS environments.
  
• Provide technical support for SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC landscapes in a post-go-live AMS environment.
  
• Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HANA Database, and related SAP technical components.
  
• Configure and support SAP Cloud ALM for Business Process Monitoring, Health Monitoring, Integration Monitoring, Job & Automation Monitoring, Alert Management, and Change & Deployment Management.
  
• Manage release planning, deployment planning, transport management, transport orchestration, release calendars, deployment tracking, and release execution across SAP landscapes.
  
• Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, kernel upgrades, support package implementation, client administration, system refreshes, and transport management activities.
  
• Support SAP landscape maintenance, including maintenance windows, transport sequencing, production deployments, technical cutovers, go-live, and hypercare activities.
  
• Monitor system performance, SAP HANA database health, workload distribution, memory utilization, capacity planning, and overall system stability.
  
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), high availability (HA), and archiving activities.
  
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Infrastructure, Security, Database, Network, and AMS teams to ensure stable and secure SAP operations.
  
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, monitoring dashboards, and knowledge base articles.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  
• Expertise in: SAP HANA Database Administration, Transport Management System (TMS), Client Administration, Kernel Upgrades, Support Package & Patch Implementation, Performance Monitoring & Tuning, SAP System Administration
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM, including: Business Process Monitoring, Health Monitoring, Integration Monitoring, Job & Automation Monitoring, Alert Management, Change & Deployment Management, Release Calendar Management, Release Management, Transport Management, Transport Orchestration
  
• Experience managing SAP landscape maintenance, production deployments, transport sequencing, and technical cutover activities.
  
• Good understanding of: High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Backup & Recovery, SAP Security, SAP System Architecture
  
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA technical migrations, upgrades, and HANA database administration.
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to work independently while supporting complex global SAP environments.
  
• Experience working with cloud-hosted SAP environments on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  
• SAP Basis, SAP HANA Administration, or SAP Cloud ALM Certification.
  
• Familiarity with ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.
  
• Experience supporting global SAP rollouts, technical migrations, go-live, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives.
