About the Role:
\n
We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Design professional with industry experience and a passion for teaching. The ideal candidate should have expertise in retail planning, store design, spatial branding, and customer-centric design solutions. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to teaching, research, industry collaborations, and curriculum development while working alongside experienced faculty.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
1) Teaching & Learning
\n
• Teach undergraduate studio courses in Retail Design, Exhibition Design, Spatial Design, and
\n
Store Planning.
\n
• Guide students through research, concept development, design detailing, and presentation.
\n
• Mentor students in live projects, internships, and portfolio development.
\n
Curriculum Development
\n
• Assist in developing and updating curriculum based on industry trends.
\n
• Integrate emerging technologies such as AI, AR/VR, digital retail, and sustainable design into
\n
teaching.
\n
2) Research & Industry Engagement
\n
• Participate in research projects and publish academic papers or case studies.
\n
• Coordinate industry visits, workshops, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.
\n
• Build relationships with retail brands and design consultancies.
\n
3) Academic Administration
\n
• Support admissions, assessments, exhibitions, and departmental activities.
\n
• Assist in NAAC/IQAC documentation, accreditation activities, data management, and quality
\n
assurance initiatives.
\n
• Participate in outreach, student mentoring, and institutional development.
\n
\n
Required Qualifications:
\n
• Master's degree in Retail Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, Spatial
\n
Design, Industrial Design, or related disciplines.
\n
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant industry and/or academic experience.
\n
• Strong portfolio showcasing retail environments, commercial interiors, or experiential design
\n
projects.
\n
