Restaurant Manager – Japanese Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead operations at a premium Japanese restaurant in Colaba, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Japanese or Pan-Asian dining concepts, with a strong focus on guest experience, service excellence, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow
• Maintain high standards of authentic Japanese hospitality and service culture
• Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house team
• Ensure exceptional guest experience and handle guest relations proactively
• Coordinate closely with kitchen team for seamless service delivery
• Manage reservations, floor planning, and table turn efficiency
• Monitor service quality, hygiene, and brand standards
• Handle inventory control, ordering, and cost management
• Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager
• Prior experience in Japanese or Pan-Asian restaurant is mandatory
• Strong understanding of fine dining or premium casual operations
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong communication and guest handling abilities
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-energy service environment
